About the Role

As an Entry-Level Marketing Assistant, you will be an essential part of our charity marketing team, supporting impactful campaigns that promote social good. Receive hands-on training in nonprofit marketing strategies, community outreach, event promotion, donor engagement, and consumer research. Reporting directly to the Executive Marketing Manager, you’ll gain the skills and leadership experience needed to grow into team lead roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily growth and execution of nonprofit marketing and outreach campaigns

  • Support efforts to increase donor acquisition and retention

  • Manage community and donor relationships with empathy and professionalism

  • Build leadership and interpersonal skills within a mission-driven environment

  • Drive engagement through local events, fundraisers, and experiential marketing

  • Coordinate and motivate Brand Ambassador teams representing nonprofit causes

  • Interact and communicate directly with community members and donors

  • Assess eligibility and support outreach for charitable services (training provided)

  • Conduct lead generation and help maintain donor and supporter databases

  • Collaborate with senior marketing staff on projects tailored to nonprofit clients

Job Requirements

  • Availability to work full-time, including some weekends for events and fundraisers

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

  • Willingness to travel periodically for training and community events

  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic, mission-focused environment

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred

  • Self-motivated, creative, and eager to contribute to social impact
