Promotional Events Assistant – Entry Level
Are you a motivated, outgoing individual looking to launch a career in marketing, promotions, retail, or event management? We are expanding our regional event portfolio and seeking self-motivated Promotional Events Assistants to help grow clients’ presence, execute impactful marketing events, and gain hands-on experience in retail, sales, and event marketing.
This is an entry-level opportunity and a crucial role within our Promotions Team, reporting directly to management. Recent graduates, career changers, and ambitious self-starters are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Promotions Team in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing and promotional strategies for each event.
Manage event logistics, including setup, visual merchandising, inventory control, and breakdown.
Track, process, and report event sales and performance metrics.
Coordinate event timelines, schedules, and on-site activities to ensure smooth operations.
Serve as a lead member of the event staff, mentoring and guiding interns and new associates.
Scout for local talent to support event and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong interest in retail, sales, marketing, promotions, or beauty industries.
1+ year of experience in retail, telecommunications, electronics, sales, or customer service preferred.
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand and be active for extended periods in a retail or event setting.
Ability to mentor and train entry-level associates and interns.
Ambition to grow within a fast-paced marketing and events environment.
