Business Development Associate - Entry Level
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Entry-Level Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, face-to-face marketing environment and is excited to build strong relationships with clients and communities through event-based outreach and promotional campaigns.
As part of our business development team, you’ll help expand market presence, support client acquisition, and create impactful customer experiences that drive long-term success for our campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with potential clients and customers at live events, pop-up activations, and retail campaigns
Identify new business opportunities through community outreach, lead generation, and market research
Educate prospects on products, services, or nonprofit causes, and communicate value clearly and confidently
Support on-site event operations, including setup, logistics, and client representation
Collaborate with marketing and event teams to optimize outreach strategies and enhance campaign performance
Build and maintain relationships with community members, partners, and event attendees
Provide feedback and reporting on lead quality, campaign trends, and outreach effectiveness
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, outgoing personality and professional demeanor
Goal-driven with a desire to grow in a sales, marketing, or client relations career
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings
Previous experience in customer service, sales, fundraising, or events is a plus, but not required
Must be comfortable working on-site at events (including some weekends)
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
